Elon Musk #USA #Engineer #philantropist #Canada #SpaceX #Reuse rockets

Elon Reeve Musk FRS is an engineer, industrial designer, technology entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is a citizen of South Africa, Canada, and the United States.

Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa. As a child, Musk was so lost in his daydreams about inventions that his parents and doctors ordered a test to check his hearing.

At about the time of his parents’ divorce, when he was 10, Musk developed an interest in computers. He taught himself how to program, and when he was 12 he sold his first software: a game he created called Blastar.

In grade school, Musk was short, introverted and bookish. He was bullied until he was 15 and went through a growth spurt and learned how to defend himself with karate and wrestling.

Musk founded his third company, Space Exploration Technologies Corporation, or SpaceX, in 2002 with the intention of building spacecraft for commercial space travel. By 2008, SpaceX was well established, and NASA awarded the company the contract to handle cargo transport for the International Space Station—with plans for astronaut transport in the future—in a move to replace NASA’s own space shuttle missions.

Coronavirus: How dangerous is lifting lockdown? #Covid-19 #lockdown #risk #dangerous

Across the UK we can meet more people, while in England some children are back in school and car showrooms and open-air markets have reopened.

But some scientists, even those advising government, have been in mutinous mood - saying ministers are acting too soon.

And the lifting of restrictions has been described as a "dangerous moment" even by England's deputy chief medical officer.

There were an estimated 100,000 new infections every day in England on 23 March, the day when Boris Johnson announced strict curbs on our daily lives.

That compares with around 8,000 daily infections at the moment.

The Most Viewed Pic.

This photo was taken by American photographer Charles O'Reilly in January 1998. He was on his way to Napa Valley, north of San Francisco, from his home in St. Helena, California. He intended to meet his girlfriend Daphne, whom he later married.
In those days a storm had passed by and the weather was beautiful and the scenery was beautiful because of the rains. Passing through the Sonoma Highway, Charles saw a green-covered hill and stopped to take a few pictures with his old camera. He had a Mamiya RZ67 camera used by professional photographers. It had the Fuji film Valvia Rail, which was considered the best for taking pictures during the day. Charles later said the picture was good because the combination of camera and film was great. He offered the photo for sale through the photo company Westlight. It was a company like Getty Images that he founded with a friend. Westlight was later bought by Bill Gates' Corbus company. Charles said he was approached by Microsoft in 2000 to buy the image. They offered so much money that Charles lost consciousness. According to him, this was the second largest amount paid for any photo in the world.

He never disclosed the amount because of a privacy agreement with Microsoft. But he is thought to have been paid several million dollars. When he tried to send the film to Microsoft by courier, all the companies apologized, because the picture had become more expensive than their insurance coverage. Eventually, Charles himself went to Microsoft headquarters and signed the deal with the film. He is the default wallpaper for Windows XP. titled the photo Bicolick Green Hills. But Microsoft named it 'Bliss' and made This photo is so fascinating that many people don't consider it real and consider it a feat of Photoshop. At first, some people thought that if it was a real picture, it would have been taken in New Zealand, Ireland, Switzerland, or some other beautiful place in Europe. Many people believe that it must have been edited. According to Charles, the photo was never edited and is presented as it was taken.
